It's Monday and today is Labour Day so we get an extra day with daddy home!! Last week, I competed the new Cize program by Shaun T. With a busy last week of summer, I finally get around to blog about the program.
Cize is Shaun T's new workout program which was just launched this past July. If you are looking for something different then your usual cardio routine - you should give this program a try. For some of you who has done Hip Hop Abs program you will love this one! I love dancing but always thought I had 2 left feet. I am not the most coordinated person but I love to dance and this was such a fun program. Shaun T breaks down the routines in an easy to follow steps so that you can gradually learn the entire routine and get an amazing workout at the same time. The workouts are 35-40 minutes long, you will dance, burn calories and get lean while dancing and having fun.

Now lets talk about the Cize workout:
It comes with 6 workouts, an 8 Count Ab workout and if you order your program through a Team Beachbody Coach (like myself) you get a bonus workout called Hold Your Own. You will get a workout calendar which you can choose the beginner or advance calendar. Basically the difference between the 2 calendars is the beginner you will do the first routine all week then switch to the new routine the next week. The advance calendar you learn 2 routines during the week. The music is also really nice. Here is the breakdown:

All discs include an ab workout called 8 Count Abs, which is about 8 minutes long. It even has a beat to is with the song "Headsprung" by LL Cool J. (Preview Below!!)
The Meal Plan
With the Cize Progam you will also get the ''Eat Up'' eating plan book, and a Weekend Survival Guide (how nice is this)!! If you've done the 21 Day Fix, the 21 Day Fix Extreme or Insanity Max 30, the meal plan is very similar. If you have not done any of those programs then let me explain. Cize comes with colour coded portion control plan. The Eat Up plan book will give you the amount of each container and what food is allowed in each of them. If you have the containers from a previous program you can use them but they are not required to follow the meal plan. The diet consists of fruits, veggies, carbs, protein, healthy fats, seed/oils and nut butter. The book gives you a list and also there is a ''meal builder'' section at the end of the book that gives you meal ideas.
I've been following the portion control meal plan from the 21 Day Fix program that I just kept with the same meal plan as its just easy for me now. You don't need to count calories and it takes the ''thinking'' out of meal planning. I also have my shakeology each day, it assures me that I will get my daily nutrients and curb my chocolate cravings ( I love the chocolate flavour)!
Here is one of my Challengers who completed the Cize Program. Lynn LeBlanc. She lost 10 lbs and 9.5 inches!!! Amazing results. Lynn would share once a week a video of the new routine she was learning that week. I loved having Lynn in my challenge group, she will continue her weight loss journey with a new program this week. So proud of you Lynn!
